Bullying case Two more students were arrested

- Two other Form One students believed to be suspects in a bullying case at a boarding school in Kuala Kangsar were arrested to assist in the investigation.

Perak police chief Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said the detention of the two teenagers was a total of six people.

"Two other male students were arrested when they were accompanied by their families to the Kuala Kangsar District Police Headquarters (IPD) last night," he said here today.

Media previously reported that four 13 -year -old students were arrested around 6 to 7 pm when they attended the Kuala Kangsar IPD, yesterday.

All of them were detained for recording conversations to assist the investigation under Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for improper use of network facilities or network services.


Earlier, a 10 -second video spread on social media showing a student punching another student in the dormitory.

The video spread on Twitter and caught the attention of netizens with 528 thousand views and more than 30,000 shares.
